TMA Hosting Online Orientations for Virtual Annual Meeting

Despite COVID-19 derailing the in-person event, TMA says transitioning to an online format will extend wider participation in the Annual Meeting.

McLEAN, Va. — Originally scheduled to be held on Marco Island, a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico off Southwest Florida, The Monitoring Association is instead organizing a full slate of virtual activities for its Annual Meeting, Oct. 24-28.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic derailing the in-person event, TMA says transitioning to an online format will extend wider participation from the association’s member community, which includes professional monitoring centers, systems integrators, service providers, installers, consultants and product manufacturers.

In preparation for taking part in the virtual activities, TMA is staging multiple online sessions to orient attendees to the features and functionalities of the program platforms. This includes interactive tours of the platforms, which will enable maximum benefit of all the education and networking activities scheduled during the Meeting’s virtual experience.

The next attendee orientation will be held Oct. 1, 2:30-3:15 p.m. (EDT). TMA will be adding additional orientation dates as needed. Attendees may request a recording of the first session, presented Sept. 3, as a reference. You can register for the orientation sessions here.
