DSS Acquires PhotoScan Systems, Enters Niche Market
Integrated security systems provider Diversified Security Solutions Inc. (DSS) has bought all the issued and outstanding stock of Los Angeles-based security systems integrator PhotoScan Systems Inc. from Secure Alarm Systems Inc.
Irv Witcosky, DSS president and COO, says buying PhotoScan provides the company an established base of operations and a platform for future growth on the West Coast. PhotoScan specializes in security systems for medical facilities, which provides DSS a new niche market, the company says.
