Guardian Completes Ranger American Acquisition
WARRENDALE, Pa. — Guardian Protection Services Inc. completed the acquisition of Ranger American, a provider of home technology solutions, with the recent purchase of its Texas-headquartered operations. In October 2007, Guardian acquired Ranger’s Florida operations.
This latest purchase expands Guardian’s footprint in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio, and further increases its penetration in its existing Charlotte, N.C., Indianapolis and Phoenix markets.
“We’re big into reconstructions and we like the business that the builders bring to the table,” Guardian Protection Services CEO Russell Cersosimo tells SECURITY SALES & INTEGRATION. “The acquisition of Ranger brings about 175 builders to the table for us — that alone brings a significant value.”
