ProActive to Display AI-Integrated Data Storage at ISC West

Security integrators can now offer an AI-enabled solution and build a recurring monthly revenue business model in the video storage space, ProActive says.

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — ProActive Data Storage & Monitoring announces it has partnered with IronYun, a manufacturer of artificial intelligence (AI)-based video search, to launch a new level of video integration at ISC West 2019.

ProActive’s video compression system integrated with AI solutions like IronYun’s flagship product, AI NVR, offers customers a cost-effective way to search and store video that is said to result in 80% savings on long-term storage, 80% time savings on searching and is 90% more affordable.

ProActive is committed to creating affordable video solutions for the entire marketplace by offering end users the ability to turn video into data files that require less storage amounts, therefore reducing the amount of hard drives needed to store video, according to the announcement.

In addition, security integrators can now offer this solution and build a recurring monthly revenue (RMR) business model in the video storage space, according to the announcement. By offering a long-term and manageable solution to their end users, integrators can create greater customer retention and provide additional products and services to their end user.

The new integration will provide customers the ability to quickly search and retrieve video seamlessly, according to the announcement. The solution includes a health monitoring feature that allows customers to receive notifications and alerts in the event a video system is down.
