Arlington, Texas, Implements False Alarm Fines

ARLINGTON, Texas—The Arlington Police Department has implemented fines for alarm owners. Under the newly enacted ordinance, which was approved in August and went into effect Feb. 18, alarm owners are required to obtain a permit and pay a $10 annual fee.

Alarm owners who do not register their system will face up to $500 for false alarms.
