Tony Hanseder has joined Ortega InfoSystems as vice president, product marketing. Hanseder’s responsibilities include managing the complete product life cycle,identifying new market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and establishing product positioning. Hanseder brings nearly 15 years of senior level product and strategic marketing experience to the company.
In other news, Jerry Molinaro has joined the company as director of global accounts. He has more than 20 years of experience in building strategic alliances, product positioning and structuring sales pipelines.
Tyco Fire & Security has named Ron Krisanda president of Tyco Safety Products Group. Krisanda will report directly to David Robinson, president of Tyco & Fire Security.
The industry mourns the death of Marc Walder, who was with Celco/Fire Master and a member of the Southern California Security Association (SCSA). Walder passed away in May after suffering a heart attack while attending an industry event. Walder is survived by his wife Madeline and two sons. He was 49.
