Systems Depot Authorized to Distribute DSC Products

The Systems Depot Inc. has been designated as an authorized DSC distributor, expanding its low-voltage distributor’s product line. DSC products will soon be available for System Depot customers.

Founded in 1996, Systems Depot will soon be opening a new branch in Miami. Besides Miami, DSC products will be made available in the following Systems Depot branches: Charleston, W.V.; Hickory, N.C.; Fayetteville, N.C.;  Atlanta; Marietta, Ga.; Orlando, Fla; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Clearwater, Fla. SST Gains Majority Stake in Innovative Security Solutions

System integrator Security Services and Technologies (SST) has expanded its reach with the acquisition of a majority interest in West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Innovative Security Solutions Inc. (ISSI).

ISSI provides security services to corporate and governmental clients in Florida and Texas. Frank Brewer, ISSI’s president, sees the new partnership as helping the combined companies to gain a larger foothold in the Southeast and Midwest. “The strong synergies resulting from this partnership, combined with their quality of work and geographical reach, will benefit our clients and position us for added growth going forward,” he says.

Silmar Electronics Distributes New Catalog

Independent security distributor Silmar Electronics has unveiled its new catalog. Silmar, based in Miami, has eight branch locations serving Florida, South Carolina and international clients in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Indigo Systems Employees Celebrate Giving to Charity

A yearlong fund-raising program by employees of Goleta, Calif.’s Indigo Systems has resulted in nearly $90,000 raised for local and national charities, including $40,117 going to the United Way.

It was the fifth year of the infrared camera developer’s “Celebration of Giving” program, which has raised over $247,000 since its inception.  A total of 45 charities benefited from Indigo employees’ efforts.
