NFPA Details 300 Codes, Standards Online
QUINCY, MASS.—The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has updated its Web site pages to help visitors find document information on more than 300 codes and standards.
The project was developed based on feedback received from a survey of NFPA’s technical committee members who volunteer to develop and revise NFPA documents.
“The new ‘Doc Info’ pages provide one central location for all the information that pertains to each of our more than 300 NFPA technical documents,” says Chris Dubay, NFPA’s vice president of codes and standards and chief engineer. “This major advancement is part of a continuing effort to use technology to enhance our code development system as well as make it easier for people to find the information they’re seeking.”
In addition to new search capabilities, users will be able to navigate and find additional details in the document information, next edition and technical committee sections.
