Potter Collaborates With AES Corp. to Market New Integrated FACP
The integrated fire monitoring system applies AES-IntelliNet mesh radio technology to Potter’s IP capable fire alarm control panel.
ST. LOUIS – Potter Electric Signal Co. and AES Corp. have reached a partnership agreement, focusing on the new AES 7706-ULF integrated fire monitoring system. The system applies AES-IntelliNet patented mesh radio technology to Potter’s IP capable fire alarm control panel (FACP), which is geared toward small to mid-size fire protection applications.

The AES 7706-ULF employs a flexible single-point configuration, providing faster alarm communication and reporting to the central station, according to the company. UL Listed and NFPA-compliant, the AES 7706-ULF is an integrated turnkey single box solution that eliminates the need for telephone lines. The company claims improved productivity, significantly reduced installation time, lower cost of deployment and faster AHJ approval with the use of the product.
All components are factory installed in a single FACP enclosure. Because of the collaboration with Potter, components don’t have to be sourced from multiple vendors. AES Corp. is the single-point of contact for global customer service and technical support for the AES 7706-ULF.
“We were thrilled when AES approached us about implementing their wireless technology in our Fire Alarm Control Panels,” says Jeff Hendrickson, vice president of product development for the fire and security division at Potter. “Now that we have seen it implemented, we couldn’t be happier to have it available to consumers.”
