PSA Security Network, an electronic security cooperative now offers fire and life safety in addition to its CCTV and access control offerings. The additional product lines should provide PSA members with the opportunity to purchase fire and life safety brands from Silent Knight, Wheelock Inc., and Interlogix Security and Life Safety Group.

“These vendors will be PSA’s partners in the fire and life safety business and not just equipment suppliers,” according to Bill Bozeman, CPP for PSA. “They will work with PSA to teach fire and life safety skills to members new to the industry and strive to support members who already have expertise in fire and life safety integration. PSA’s entry into the market will allow our members to learn safety integration. PSA’s entry into the market will allow our member to learn and participate in a business that, although competitive, is stable and growing.”

Silent Knight integrates fire detection, voice evacuation, remote PC programming and digital communications of system events. Wheelock Inc. will supply PSA members with life safety notification appliances, telephone and industrial signaling products and communications systems. As part of the Interlogix security and life safety group, ESL will offer PSA members a variety of fire and life safety systems including smoke and heat detectors, carbon monoxide alarms and fire alarm stations.
