SafeStreets USA First Dealer to Achieve Elite ADT Authorized Provider Status

The ADT Authorized Provider designation was created for dealers that meet specified qualifications and have reached significant milestones within the program.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — After exploring ways to reward and incentivize its most successful authorized dealers, ADT (NYSE: ADT) recently established a second-tier designation within the indirect channel that offers unique marketing opportunities to elite performers.

The new tier — ADT Authorized Provider — was created for security dealers that meet specified qualifications and have reached significant milestones within the program, according to the announcement. Among a number of other qualifiers, ADT Authorized Providers must:

  • Generate 50,000 purchased alarm accounts per year for two consecutive years
  • Must have minimum company annual revenue of $100 million

As a result of their elite status, these dealers enjoy benefits and privileges that go beyond that of a standard authorized dealer. While the new distinction is separate and materially different than the ADT Authorized Premier Provider, the new tier is designed to give all ADT dealers an incentive to grow their businesses in order to obtain this new designation, the company states.

The first security dealer to reach the elite status of ADT Authorized Provider is SafeStreets USA, which operates from main offices in Garner, N.C., and Kent, Wash.

Formed in 2011 through the merging of three separate ADT dealers (Eversafe Security, Alarm Team and First Detection), SafeStreets remains one of ADT’s most tenured and most respected Authorized Dealers, according to the announcement. In 2016, the company merged with Gaylord Security and ASC Security USA to cover more than 90% of the U.S. population in 39 states.

SafeStreets’ commitment to delivering a superior customer service experience in both sales and installation has earned the company numerous industry accolades, including the distinction of being ADT’s No. 1 producing Authorized Dealer.

The company consistently delivers one of the highest home automation installation rates in the program, and boasts an Net Promoter Score — a management tool that can be used to gauge the loyalty of a firm’s customer relationships — of more than 70%.

ADT first launched its Authorized Dealer program about 25 years ago.
