Resolution Products has two families that fit into this segment of the market — the Inter-active Gateway Modules (IGM) and Helix. The IGMs retrofit directly to the keypad bus of most popular alarm panels in the market today. They allow dealers to not only provide customers with the latest communication technologies but also add a broad range of interactive controls, notifications and automation features to these legacy systems.
Helix is a new security panel architecture built from the ground up around IP connectivity. Each Helix system comes with an Ethernet port built in. This IP connectivity port allows Helix to connect remotely to central stations and interactive service platforms, and to a broad range of systems inside the premises that are also on the Ethernet network. Helix can integrate with NVRs/DVRs, access control systems and high-end automation platforms because each of these devices tend to be network-connected and controlled. This flexibility allows Helix to be a security and life-safety platform that extends into a broad range of markets and use cases.
