Security Sales & Integration: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Lessing Gold: Retain your sense of humor.
SSI: What advice would you give to those looking to achieve success in the security industry?
Gold: Always tell the truth and be honest and straightforward with your customers and your suppliers. If a job is beyond the scope of your ability or knowledge, don`t accept it.
SSI: If you could point to one person in the security industry and tell up-and-comers, “Make sure to listen to what they have to say,” whom would you pick and why?
Gold: Peter Raymond. He knows the industry inside and out. He takes pride in what he does and is always ready to share his knowledge with new and upcoming men and women entering the industry. If he tells you something, listen!
