2005 ASIS Expo Special Report: ASIS Expo Briefs

HSM Stages Grand Premiere
As a next step in its growth plans, the electronic security company once known as Honeywell Security Monitoring announced at ASIS that it will now be known only by its HSM acronym, while revealing a measurement system that will allow its customers to track HSM’s performance.
The HSM National Account Performance Scorecard, to be made available on HSM’s Web site (www.hsmsecurity.com) will allow its customers to see how the company is doing in such areas as on-time completions of installations, total sales and repairs completed within 24 hours of notification.

Panasonic Badges Attendees With Plasma TVs
Just wearing a button resulted in three lucky ASIS attendees receiving a 42-inch plasma TV from Panasonic Security Systems. Robert Leonard from Raytheon Systems in Goleta, Calif.; Kevin Yagi from Ontario, Canada’s CAMACC Systems Inc.; and Darrell Baker from Will Electronics in Maryland Heights, Md., each took home the high-definition TVs after being found on the show floor wearing a Panasonic “I got IT!” button.
