Allied Universal Launches Risk Advisory and Consulting Services Division

The new division will help businesses effectively identify and mitigate risk to prevent loss and protect people, infrastructure and assets.

SANTA ANA, Calif. — Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, has expanded its portfolio to deliver risk mitigation solutions through a new risk advisory and consulting services division.

The new division is staffed by professional practitioners with notable backgrounds in corporate security, government and local law enforcement, military intelligence and physical security assessment, design and engineering, according to an announcement.

“In today’s global business landscape, risk is constantly evolving and sometimes unavoidable,” states Ty Richmond, president of Allied Universal Risk Advisory and Consulting Services and International. “Crucial to enterprise business sustainability is understanding risk factors such as threats and vulnerability with the ultimate goal of acting to minimize that impact.”

Allied Universal integrates security consulting, investigations, personal protection and threat, disaster and emergency response with traditional security services and technology systems to present a comprehensive picture of risk and actionable solutions to enhance security program effectiveness and ROI.

“We help our customers determine baseline program maturity and needs with the appropriate level of investment and oversight to ensure delivery of a solution commensurate with the risk,” says Richmond. “We arm organizations with the knowledge to make those critical decisions and the resources and partnerships to deliver upon the overall mission.”

Leveraging the expertise of the company’s veteran leaders, Allied Universal states its new division will help businesses effectively identify and mitigate risk to prevent loss and protect people, infrastructure and assets — locally, regionally and globally.

In April, the company acquired Securadyne Systems, a security integrator, based in Dallas. The deal, for undisclosed terms, provides Allied Universal an integration platform to offer technology-enabled security solutions on a global scale, according to an announcement.

Founded by CEO Carey Boethel in 2011 in partnership with Pamlico Capital, Securadyne Systems specializes in integrated security solutions by offering security consulting, design, engineering and installation. Boethel is a member of SSI’s Editorial Advisory Board.
