Tom Cashman has rejoined Sensormatic as senior vice president and general manager of the company’s Video Systems Division. Cashman formerly served as president and COO of Sensormatic’s Robot Research.

Datacard has elected Elaine Bliss to general manager of Credentia, the company’s identity systems division. Bliss has held several management positions with Datacard throughout the past 12 years. The company also announces that Paul Schroeder has been appointed to general manager of Datacard Worldwide, the company’s Card personalization solutions division. Most recently, Schroeder served as senior vice president and CFO. In other news, Datacard has chosen Roger Sigler to head its worldwide sales and distribution organization. He recently returned from Hong Kong, where he spent two years directing Datacard’s Asia-Pacific sales and marketing efforts.

The Canadian Alarm and Security Association (CANASA) welcomes Jeffrey MacLean as executive director. Prior to joining the association, MacLean worked for more than five years for Alliance Security Systems as owner/general manager.

Fiber SenSys Inc. of Beaverton, Ore., introduces Phillip T. Fischer as vice president of sales and marketing. Fischer has nearly 20 years of domestic and international sales and marketing management experience with technology equipment companies.

Doug Fillhart has joined Ultrak Inc. of Lewisville, Texas, as vice president of the company’s Integrated Systems Group. Fillhart has a background in integration systems. Ultrak has appointed David Fowler to director of its Professional Security Group – Retail Operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience in project management. In other news, Peter Beare has joined the company as vice president of technology and operations. He will be in charge of the manufacturing and operations business segments.

NAPCO Security Group of Amityville, N.Y., has appointed Paul Hoey as regional sales manager. His territory will include Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont. Hoey will also conduct training classes for the company in the northeast region.

SAFE and SAFE Financial welcome Lee Zobel as sales executive for the western region of the United States and Canada. Zobel is the founder and chairman of Dynamark Security Centers. The company also announces that Troy Attwell has been promoted to sales administrator. Attwell joined the company in 1999 as a customer service assistant.

Pamela Yancoskie has joined C.O.P.S. Monitoring of Williamstown, N.J., as senior dealer support supervisor. In her new position, Yancoskie will head up the company’s new dealer support department.

Videolarm Inc. of Atlanta announces additions to its sales staff. Susanne Herzel joins the company as territory sales manager. She has 15 years of experience in security sales, starting as a customer service rep for Vicon. Michael Stewart has also come aboard as territory sales manager. Stewart began his career with Videolarm in the shipping department.

Beckett & Beckett welcomes Joe Batty as its new intellectual property capitalization and new economy investment-ready expert. During a 30-year career as a chartered accountant, Batty served a variety of organizations in both the private and public sectors.
