DVS Appoints Business Development, Consulting Principals

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. — Security consulting and engineering firm Ducibella Venter & Santore (DVS) has appointed Frank Santamorena, PSP, as principal. In this role, he will be responsible for the firm’s business development activities.

Santamorena has managed more than 1,000 security and life-safety system projects for the government market and Fortune 500 companies. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he is the past chairmen of the ASIS Mid-Hudson (N.Y.) chapter. Santamorena also served as the security expert and advisor on the Discovery Channel series “It Takes a Thief.”

The company has also hired John De George, CPP, PSP, as principal and vice president of Consulting.

De George brings more than 30 years of security industry experience to DVS. In his new role, De George will assume the lead management role on critical company projects. Previously, De George was managing director of Global Technical Security at NYSE Euronext, where he provided global management for technical and physical mitigation strategies.
