NSCA Elects New Board Members

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — During the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) annual meeting, members elected seven new associates to the organization’s board of directors.

Each member will serve a two-year term. Following are the newly elected officials:

  • President: Ingolf de Jong, president and principal partner of General Communications Inc.
  • Vice President: Kelly McCarthy, president of Genesis Integration Inc.
  • Secretary: Ray Bailey, president of Lone Star Communications Inc.
  • Treasurer: Michael Hester, founder and managing partner of Beacon Communications
  • Jim Huber, director of sales and marketing, NOR-COM Inc.
  • Josh Shanahan, president, Sport View Technologies (SVT)
  • Ron Prier, owner and CEO, RPAV

In his role as NSCA president, de Jong will focus on key areas of change the industry is facing and ensuring NSCA is a primary resource for the integration community. One of his biggest goals will be to educate integrators on the mass notification and emergency communications (MNEC) market, policies and regulations, and daily business practices such as contracts, service agreements and bid process.
