Scott Schafer has joined Pelco as its new senior vice president of marketing and North America sales.
Schafer was the senior vice president of sales, marketing and service for automobile IT solutions company Reynolds & Reynolds and also spent 19 years at NCR Corp. Monitronics Int’l has hired Hank Groff to lead the company’s Authorized Dealer Sales Training Program as its new national manager of sales training.
Groff was previously a regional manager for ADT Security Services and, before that, was president and director of sales for Jacksonville, Fla., alarm company LifeShield Security.
Security Sales & Integration Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine and his wife Jill welcomed their newborn son Nathan Parker Goldfine into the world Sept. 29.
Nathan, Scott and Jill’s first child, weighed in at eight pounds.
Dave Homet has joined PSA Security Network as its new business development officer.
The 22-year industry veteran has managed sales for OnQ Technologies and ADI. The Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) has appointed John Lombardi to its Board of Directors.
Lombardi is president of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.’s Commercial Instruments and Alarm Systems Inc. and has more than 36 years of experience in the security industry and life safety fields.
