Security Company Moves to U.S., Appoints New Management

BURNABY, British Columbia, Canada—Expanding into the U.S. security market, Canadian storage solutions and security and loss prevention provider Merlin Technologies plans to relocate its headquarters to the greater Boston/New York area by the end of September.

Robert Heller, founder of Merlin, said the move is part of the company’s plan to expand globally. At press time, the company was intending to utilize a U.S. subcontractor to make its products.

Along with the company’s relocation, the company appointed new management. William Johnson was appointed president and CEO, and John Hectus was appointed as chairman of the board.
