Security-Net Adds Strategic Security Solutions to Expand in Mid-Atlantic, Southeast

The regional representation provided by Strategic Security Solutions expands the networks’ ability to fulfill national account needs.

EXTON, Pa. — Security-Net, a network of security system integrators, recently welcomed Raleigh, N.C.-based Strategic Security Solutions to its membership ranks.

Jay Slaughterbeck, CEO of Strategic Security Solutions, will serve as the member representative for the company, which provides security solutions to commercial entities, universities, critical infrastructure and healthcare facilities.

Slaughterbeck began his career in the security industry directly out of high school and possesses a keen understanding of security integration developed during his over 20 years of experience, according to an announcement.

“We provide a service for our clients that extends beyond installing cameras and card readers. As true integrators, our goal is to solve problems, tighten security and streamline processes for our end-user customers,” says Slaughterbeck.

Founded in 2001, the integration firm originated as a division of a structured wiring company called Strategic Connections. In 2011, the division became a standalone organization focused solely on security integration. The company, with around 35 employees, operates offices out of Pittsburgh and Lynchburg, Va., in addition to its headquarters.

“Strategic Security Solutions has worked with many of our Security-Net partners over the years and the company is known for its focused perspective on security integration,” says John Krumme of Security-Net. “We look forward to furthering this work and their contribution to our shared best practices.”

One of four additions to the Security-Net membership within the past month, Strategic Security Solutions joins as the 19th member company.

Slaughterbeck adds that he is enthusiastic to provide a positive impact on the industry as a whole and to learn from security industry professionals who are a part of Security-Net. Additionally, the added regional representation in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast concurrently provided by Strategic Security Solutions expands the networks’ ability to deploy and fulfill national account needs.
