ATLANTA – When security professionals gather here next week for the ASIS International 60th Annual Seminar and Exhibits, they’ll have several choices on where to network during the busy conference.
More than 20,000 attendees are expected to attend ASIS 2014, which will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The conference will feature more than 250 educational sessions and 700 exhibits of security technology and services.
To help attendees unwind, ASIS will host several events during the week, such as daily networking luncheons, special interest breakfasts, receptions, and dinners. They include:
- ASIS Foundation Annual Golf Tournament
- The Young Professionals Reception
- The New Member Reception
- ASISPAC Fundraising Dinner
- President’s Reception
- Young Professionals Happy Hour
- Closing Luncheon with Rear Admiral Scott Moore
Described as the “epicenter for security education and technology” the conference will also feature an expo show floor that includes everything from networking events to certification classroom reviews to sessions on operational and cyber security, current global threats like the terrorist group ISIS and the Ebola outbreak, and security management best practices.
