In 1998, dealers installed an average of 29.4 percent of access control systems. This amounted to a 16.5-percent increase from 1997.

What Do You Integrate With Access Control?

More than one-half of installing companies are integrating access control with burglary. “Other” includes computers. Fire accounts for less than 15 percent of the integration that is taking place in the access control market.
