2 Tyco Executives to Leave Company
New York
In a letter to all employees, Tyco Int’l’s newly appointed
chairman and CEO, Edward D. Breen, announced that the
company’s CFO, Mark Swartz, will soon be leaving the
organization.
Breen says, “Mark Swartz has talked with me about his plans and said he has decided to leave the company. He will continue to serve in his present role as I settle into my job and until we complete a search for a new CFO, which we are starting immediately.” No reason was given for Swartz’s departure.
Breen also states that Tyco’s temporary general counsel, Irving Gutin, will be retiring. Additionally, the letter indicates that other members will be added to Breen’s team.
