NEW YORK – The Western Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (WBFAA) announced at ISC East the launch of a four-year distance-learning apprenticeship for life-safety and low-voltage technicians to be held jointly with the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association’s (NBFAA) National Training School (NTS).

WBFAA says it is developing a program that includes online education for apprentices that will be managed in California, but offered nationally through NTS. It will be a four-year program based on the curriculum developed by an industry consortium.
