LAS VEGAS — Steve Hunt, an advisor to the Open Security Exchange (OSE), used the ISC show to debut what he says is the first company dedicated to helping bring IT and physical security together.
4A Int’l (4Ai) will work as a consultant to help security dealers, integrators, manufacturers and end users easily integrate their systems with IT security systems and those who operate them.
“We will bring the people together, sit them at the right table, and since we’re really coming with great expertise in IT, we’ll help the physical security world integrate IT into their product portfolio,” says 4Ai President and CEO Hunt, who recently left research firm Forrester — where he completed a convergence study (see page 19 of the March issue for the complete results of that study).
