DENVER — The 2026 Security Sales & Integration MVP Awards presentation is coming to the Rocky Mountains, with the honorees celebrated during the awards luncheon at PSA TEC, which is set for April 23 at the Gaylord of the Rockies.
The MVPs — short for Most Valuable Product — are in their 12th year and are universally respected in our industry. What sets the SSI MVP Awards apart is their goal. The MVPs recognize products that affect dealers and integrators’ businesses in meaningful and positive ways.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Security Sales & Integration to host the MVP Awards at PSA TEC 2026,” says Matt Barnette, CEO of PSA. “SSI has a long-standing legacy of recognizing excellence in security technology, and bringing the MVP Awards to PSA TEC is a powerful way to celebrate the innovation, leadership and impact our industry delivers every day. It’s a natural fit and one we’re proud to support.”
Our judges analyze the technical merits of the products and also consider products and technologies’ ability to help integrators open up new avenues to capture a wider customer base. Plus, they assess whether the products enable dealers/integrators to design and install systems faster and, thus, more profitably.
The judges even consider whether nominated solutions help dealers/integrators gain substantial profit margin on the equipment.

“The MVP Awards represent our highest honor for members of the electronic security manufacturer and distributor community,” says Dan Ferrisi, group director of content + editorial, industrial + tech, Emerald.
“There could be no better partner than PSA, and no better place than PSA TEC, for us to bestow this honor to suppliers whose technical innovation, R&D ingenuity and unshakeable dealer commitment place them squarely at the top of the industry,” he says.
The 2026 SSI MVP Awards cover a wide range of categories relevant to physical and electronic security businesses. They include the following: access control, business operations, central station/monitoring, fire/life safety, home controls, installation aids, intrusion detection, miscellaneous security products, security apps and video surveillance.
How to Submit Successfully
We’ll ask each 2026 SSI MVP Awards entrant to submit several items for the judges’ consideration. These include a product specification sheet, a product description (fewer than 200 words), a brief description of the three most important product features, an assessment of how the product benefits dealers/integrators, a short promotional description that we can publish online and/or in print, and photo assets to support the nomination.
Our judging panel of industry leaders and SSI editors will consider all aspects. In particular, judges will think about innovation, functionality, competitive advantages and installer benefits.
