Access Control Keypad Operates in Standalone or System Mode

Published: November 30, 2006

International Electronics Inc. (IEI) of Canton, Mass., announces the 2000 Series of access control keypads. These keypads offer installers and end users a wide range of functions, such as door position monitoring, control of locking hardware and a forced-door alert. The system will also shunt alarm contacts for free entry, and users can change the mode of operation from standalone to system-wide at any time.
The 2000 Series will also accommodate most Wiegand-type access controllers and are available in flush-mount, back-lit or flush-mount metal.  According to IEI, the 2000 Series is equivalent to the older 212, 242 and the SSW series.
