MIAMISBURG, Ohio — During a recent rebuild of a home for ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” turnkey access control and security solutions provider Matrix Systems donated access control equipment and installation services.
The ABC reality show transforms the home of the Grommesh family of Moorhead, Minn., into a new two-story residence on the Jan. 2, 2011, episode. Matrix Systems donated and installed some of the same high-technology security equipment it provides its customers, such as Miami Int’l Airport, but on a smaller scale.
“Our security business is solely in commercial markets such as government, transportation, healthcare, education, commercial and industrial facilities, but we were honored to provide this needy family a residential adaptation of our services,” says James Young, president, Matrix Systems.
Matrix provides commercial Web browser-based, open architecture enterprise and legacy access control systems under its Frontier brand.
