Access Control Systems Expands, Rebrands as Guardian Access Solutions

The company acquired Access Security Parking Integrated Solutions in 2021 and Access Control Technologies in 2022.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Access Control Systems, which previously acquired Access Security Parking Integrated Solutions (ASPIS) of Georgia and Access Control Technologies (ACT) of Florida, is rebranding as Guardian Access Solutions in light of its expansion and new suite of service offerings.

Headquartered in Nashville, the company now has offices in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida, and services the entire Southeast including Kentucky, Alabama, the Carolinas and other areas as a system integrator, installer and certified service provider. Its customer base comprises residential and commercial properties, hospitals, schools and universities, industrial, distribution and manufacturing complexes, hotels, restaurants and other hospitality facilities, along with airports and other transportation hubs.

Founded in 1987 with a focus on automated gates and parking revenue control systems, Access Control Systems (dba Guardian Access Solutions), acquired Access Security Parking Integrated Solutions in 2021 and then acquired Access Control Technologies in 2022. Access Control Systems is a portfolio company of Brixey & Meyer Capital, a Cincinnati-based private investment firm.
