Access Specialties, a manufacturer of access control and security systems, is under new ownership and management. Founder Wayne Erickson sold the company to Lisa DeBettignies, who will take over as president, and Teri Zemlak, vice president.
Erickson launched the company about 20 years ago and was one of the first manufacturers to introduce a PC-based access control system. He will enter a new role in support of product development and research efforts for the company.
“Wayne will be instrumental in helping us with product development and is looking forward to transitioning into much deserved retirement,” DeBettignies says. “Our customers will enjoy enhanced marketing tools and increased activity in product development so that we can continue to offer the finest products in the industry.”
