VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada — Cloud-based access control solutions manufacturer Active Witness recently announced its partnership with industry-leading distributor IDN-Canada (IDN).
The partnership will allow the company to leverage IDN-Canada’s extensive network of locksmiths and security dealers across the country, according to the company. IDN-Canada is a leading door hardware and electronic security distributor with offices in nine Canadian cities from Vancouver to Halifax.
The strategic partnership will allow Canadian locksmiths and integrators to be able to procure Active Witness products directly from IDN. By offering its hardware through IDN’s distribution hubs, the company says dealers from across Canada will be able to expediently receive products and rapidly deploy its solutions to its customers.
CEO & Founder of Active Witness, Rob Bakshi, has experience in growing security brands through distribution partners like IDN with his previous company Silent Witness, which was sold to Honeywell in 2003.
Bakshi explains, “We’re excited to partner with IDN-Canada and gain access to their network of Canadian dealers. They have an extensive list of locksmiths and integrators who trust them and will now have direct access to Active Witness products and a great team at IDN who will support them.”
Todd Humphrey, EAC national sales manager at IDN, says, “IDN-Canada is pleased to welcome Active Witness to its extensive offering of industry-leading brands. The team at Active Witness has addressed a much-needed market niche with its newly released Sima standalone access control product.”
