ADEMCO Systems says it is being renamed to Honeywell Access Systems and join a new division called Honeywell Fire and Access Solutions. Company officials say the new division will report through the same leadership as Notifier, Fire•Lite, Silent Knight and System Sensor.
Mark Levy, president of the new Honeywell division, says this strategy aligns all the systems companies together to strategically leverage the companies’ products to their customers. “Overwhelmingly, our customers designed and proposed this solution and support the formation of the new systems group, as it provides a more focused approach with emphasis on the different market segments we are serving,” he says. Dennis Raefield will lead the new group.
