Adesta Honored for Occupational Safety Excellence

The Greater Omaha Chapter of the National Safety Council has honored systems integrator Adesta LLC with the Award of Honor with Distinction for eight consecutive years of outstanding occupational safety and health program results and achievements.

Established in 1984, the Occupational Safety and Health Awards Recognition Program recognizes excellence in accident prevention and loss control programs. To be considered for an award, a company must have an incident rate and lost work day case rate the same or better than the latest available industry average for their standard industrial classification (SIC) as recorded by the United States Bureau of Labor statistics estimates of occupational injury and illness incidence rates. All companies considered for award recognition must have a written injury/illness prevention plan or equivalent.

“Safety is a key element of our business,” says Bob Sommerfeld, president, Adesta. “It is our number one priority at Adesta. We are very stringent when it comes to our safety policy and beliefs, and this acknowledgement is a testament to that. We appreciate being honored by the National Safety Council. It means a great deal to our company.”

Adesta has been a consecutive winner of the National Safety Council’s Award of Honor with Distinction since 2006. Additionally, the systems integrator was bestowed the Gold Award of Honor in 2005, the Silver Award of Honor in 2004 and the Bronze Award of Honor in 2003.
