ADI and DYMO Industrial, a provider of portable label printers and the RhinoPro series line, have teamed up to offer the RhinoPro 3000 and RhinoPro 5000 product line through normal ADI distribution.
Both products offer new features that include hot keys, designed to simplify label formatting for wires and cables, smear-proof thermal printing, and a large backlit display. The latter is helpful when working in dark environments.
The RhinoPro 3000 also offers text hot keys that help label frequently-used locations and equipment where the 5000 contains an advanced wire gauge function as well as terminal block and patch panel feature.
According to DYMO Industrial Business Unit’s global director Doug Waldal, “Our research indicates that most residential installers do not label or use a pen and tape to identify wires, cables and components. Our goal is to give users tools that will allow them to economically create labels, which will make their jobs look more professional.”
