MELVILLE, N.Y. — Wholesale distributor ADI has named Michael Flink as general manager and vice president of ADI North America.
Flink joined Honeywell in 2003 as vice president of marketing for ADI North America. In his new position, Flink will be responsible for all operations including sales, marketing, customer service, inventory and logistics in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Flink is credited with helping ADI complete the acquisition of Gardiner Groupe Europe and extending its international operations into 14 countries. Most recently, he served as the general manager for Honeywell Security Middle East, where he opened the first office in the region and established the sales, marketing, technical support and supply chain to serve customers in 22 countries.
