ADI, CEDIA Host Home Theater Audio Boot Camps
MELVILLE, N.Y.
ADI, a wholesale distributor of security and low-voltage products, is partnering with Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) to deliver Home Theater Audio Boot Camps at ADI branches nationwide. The courses are designed to help electronic system technicians improve their understanding and skills related to the installation of high-end custom home theaters. The courses will also help individuals prepare for CEDIA certification.
The Home Theater Audio Boot Camp, developed and instructed by Joel Rosenblatt of A/V Marketing Consultants, is designed to provide specific audio information needed to successfully design a home theater atmosphere. The half-day workshops run each month through December, and present fundamentals including room acoustics, speaker types, performance parameters and placement issues, amplifier and speaker matching, subwoofers and standing waves, EQ fundamentals, SPL measurements, as well as current surround format explanations.
“Attending the CEDIA Home Theater Audio Boot Camp class at my local ADI branch gave me the opportunity to learn how to fine tune my company’s audio installation and design standards,” says Danny Utley, co-owner of Titan Technologies. “I believe in delivering quality audio installations to my customers, and I look forward to attending CEDIA classes at ADI in the future.”
