Security distributor ADI has partnered with several manufacturers to create what it says is a comprehensive turnkey marketing program. The member companies – Leviton Integrated Networks, Vodavi Phone Systems, Honeywell Security and Honeywell Cable Products – aim to improve installer potential for the small business sector by providing customized technology solutions in the program, called System Networking Application Portfolio Infrastructure Technology (SNAPIT).
While the applications offered by the SNAPIT program are the same across a variety of business factors, each application’s benefits are framed appropriately for that particular customer’s business and budget.
ADI is handling product supply logistics and is offering rationalization upgrade packages and marketing support to ease the transition for businesses and dealers to SNAPIT.
In other news, security contractors and integrators looking for a bargain are getting a new option from the distributor. ADI has opened up a new industry clearance Web site, where never-used products are being offers at as much as 83-percent off its original price.
The site has more than 250 product selections in such lines as intrusion, fire, CCTV, access control and structured cabling.
“We have improved our warehouse network infrastructure and are providing yet another vehicle to pass these efficiencies onto our customers,” says ADI Vice President of Marketing Randy Teague. “We have designed this site with the customer in mind and want to pass along the ultimate purchasing experience: price-competitive merchandise with superior service.”

ADI has also announced a new distribution relationship with Pioneer Electronics USA Inc. to allow residential installers access to Pioneer’s line of plasma display products, audio/video receivers and other home electronics.
