Wholesale distributor ADI recently celebrated the grand opening of its state-of-the-art distribution center in Feura Bush, N.Y. Located near Albany, the facility expands ADI’s presence in the Northeast, giving the company the ability to better serve branches and customers throughout the region.
At almost 135,000-square-feet, the cavernous warehouse hub directly supports 25 ADI branches. It features an advanced radio frequency (RF) picking and packing process intended to reduce order times, improve order quality to branches and customers, and improve the overall effectiveness of operations.
Additional space and resources is expected to be available at other ADI hubs to increase inventory and improve delivery times across the entire United States.
“The opening of this new hub reflects ADI’s continued commitment to better serve its customers, and the security and low voltage industry,” says Yvonne Hao, vice president of North America, ADI. “The grand opening of our new Albany hub is significant to ADI, as it supports our growth and helps to provide enhanced value to our dealers.”
In all, ADI has nine hubs that support 107 branches across North America.
