ADI announces it will partner with Micon Technology, a provider of online and wireless security products, to market a line of IP network cameras.

The Micon Technology iGuard Series of network cameras enable remote monitoring, surveillance and streaming live video over the Internet. Based on network technology, the iGuard camera features an IP network video server, eliminating both the need and cost of a dedicated computer-based video recording system, according to the company. Customers can choose from several solutions for remote surveillance and security needs.

ADI will distribute the iGuard product line, including the IP-250E, an entry level stationary product with a built-in Web server and LCD; the IP-103K, an iCam O3 camera and Web server with pan, tilt and zoom (p/t/z) capabilities; and the IP-280E, a network speed dome for small business applications with an embedded web server, and an expandable USB port which is compatible with a large selection of USB cameras.

According to the company, iGuard products can stream live video images directly to the Internet without a PC.
“We’re pleased to create a relationship with Micon Technologies that enables us to deliver state-of-the-art Web-based remote surveillance systems that eliminate the need to use a dedicated computer-based video recording system,” says Nick LaBella, ADI’s director of product marketing for CCTV. “Now the ability to watch your business or home anytime, anywhere is attainable.”
