ADI, a wholesale distributor of security and low- voltage
products, announces it will partner with American Power
Conversion (APC) to offer a line of power conditioning and
battery back-up products designed for the home and AV
industry.
With the addition of APC’s line of power protection
infrastructure, ADI will now offer a more comprehensive
product line for home and commercial applications, says
Scott Sturgess, ADI’s director of product management,
Intrusion & Fire Products.
“We are very excited about our partnership with APC,
which will support the needs of all our dealers,” Sturgess
says. “APC has been an active participant in our Home
Entertainment Source program and we’re delighted to expand
our offering to include their AV power product line.”
Headquartered in West Kingston, R.I., APC’s line of AV
products protect against power surges and spikes, while
eliminating power as a source of audio-video signal
degradation. ADI will also offer APC’s battery back-up
products, including the Back-UPS HS 500, which is designed
for structured wiring and home networking applications.
