For the second year in a row, ADI will sponsor the CEDIA University Learning Lab at CEDIA EXPO 2009 in Atlanta, Ga., from Sept. 9-13. With the Learning Lab sessions, in four separate rooms, ADI will provide electronic-systems technicians with hands-on training.

“At ADI, we are committed to providing our customers with valuable training opportunities to help them succeed in today’s market,” says John Sullivan, ADI’s vice president of sales. “Hands-on training is the best kind of learning, and we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to team up with our vendors to sponsor the Learning Labs for a second year in a row.”

The Learning Labs will host 23 sessions linked to 12 CEDIA University courses being offered at the Expo to provide a hands-on training component. Attendees will learn to install, calibrate and troubleshoot home networks and integrated audio and video systems.

ADI’s labs will focus on computers, cable, connectors and testing, audio and component installation, as well as video display technology and calibration. When courses are not being administered in the Learning Labs, attendees will be able to interact with products and technology.

“Providing this one-of-a-kind training to our members and attendees is very important to CEDIA,” says Jeff Gardner, the trade show’s director of technical training. “ADI’s continued support has allowed us to add several new features to the Learning Lab concept, including a new component installation lab and the introduction of training in the areas of networking and IP control.”

The Learning Labs will include products and solutions from more than 35 of ADI’s leading manufacturers. Attendees can visit ADI at Booth 1650 or register for the Learning Lab courses at the CEDIA Web site.
