Fox Alarm Co. of Birmingham, Ala., is now owned by ADS Security. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Fox Alarm will keep its name and become the 13th ADS-operated security company. The buyout adds 15,000 accounts to ADS’ 35,000 as well as Fox’s monitoring operations. Steve Hicks, a founding partner of Fox Alarm, is now vice president and general manager for ADS’ central Alabama operations. Partner Frank Love is retiring.
