ADS Security Reaches $3M in Recurring Monthly Revenue
ADS manages about 90,000 accounts in total, comprising a mix of residential and commercial customers.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – ADS Security, a regional electronic security and automation company based here, announces it has achieved $3 million in recurring monthly revenue (RMR).
Founded in 1990, ADS achieved $2 million in RMR in 2012, and hit the $3 million mark earlier this year, according to a company statement.
ADS attributes its RMR growth to a combination of a disciplined internal sales program and a strong acquisition pipeline of security company owners who have chosen to sell their business to ADS.
The company completed its fourth acquisition this year, totaling more than 7,000 purchased accounts year-to-date. In 2015, ADS acquired security companies totaling approximately 6,500 accounts.

“The year is young. We expect that our expansion will continue with at least two more transactions in the coming months,” says ADS President and CEO John Cerasuolo.
The approximately 90,000 accounts that make up the $3 million in RMR are a mix of residential and commercial with a noted shift toward the commercial side of the business in the most recent years.
“With our tremendous growth, I expect us to announce another milestone very soon as we reach $50 million in annual revenue,” says Patrick Ritter, ADS senior vice president controller.
