ADS Security’s Latest Acquisition Enhances Georgia Footprint

ADS Security has acquired 2,000 new accounts in southeast Georgia in the firm's third purchase of 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – ADS Security (ADS), a regional electronic security and automation company, has acquired 2,000 accounts from Vidalia, Ga.-based Bridgecom Inc.

The latest deal is ADS’ third acquisition in southeast Georgia. With the latest purchase, ADS now serves 10,000 customer accounts in the state.

“We have been serving customers in Georgia for more than 20 years, so we’re proud to be experiencing growth in a state that is part of our legacy,” ADS President and CEO John Cerasuolo says. “We extend a warm welcome to Bridgecom employees and customers into the ADS family.”

Bridgecom customers will have access to the ADS advanced suite of residential and commercial security and automation services, including mobile management, smart home technologies, video surveillance and access control solutions; proprietary UL-listed, CSAA Five Diamond monitoring center and My ADS customer portal with simple online account management.

The purchased accounts will continue to be serviced out of Bridgecom’s Lyons, Ga.-based location, a new branch office for ADS. Bridgecom owner Bill O’Neal and his team will join ADS.

With the latest acquisition of Bridgecom, ADS has acquired three companies this year, including Myrtle Beach, S.C.-based from ProTec Plus and Clarksville, Tenn.-based Professional Alarms.

In total, ADS has acquired 6,000 accounts in 2015. Last year, the firm acquired five security companies across the Southeast totaling approximately 6,400 accounts.
