ADT Acquires Smart Apartment Platform IOTAS
Users of the IOTAS app will now be able to reach an ADT agent in the event of an emergency by simply swiping a dedicated button in the app.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Smart apartment platform provider IOTAS announces it has been acquired by ADT.
IOTAS says it delivers a fully-connected smart home experience for apartment residents that integrates multiple devices on a single app, is voice controlled and provides automated intelligence.

The safety of their home will travel with them, providing peace of mind in dark parking garages, empty stairwells, ride-shares, and everywhere in between,” says Pike.
IOTAS counts Google, Amazon, Yale, Honeywell, Z-Wave, Salto and others among its partners.
