DALLAS — HyperGraphic Impressions has won a $12 million contract to produce millions of yard signs for ADT Security Services, the electronic security company announced Oct. 11. The company beat out several multi-national firms to earn the contract.
The security sign manufacturer will produce as many as 8,000 of ADT’s trademark bright blue and white octagon yard signs a day. Each sign will feature engineer-grade reflective sheeting, a steel washer safety cap, special ink to resist yellowing and a UV resistant clear coat to extend durability.
“ADT selected HyperGraphic Impressions, Inc. because of its commitment to delivering a high-quality product at a competitive price,” says ADT North America Chief Marketing Officer Don Boerema. “We were impressed with the company’s attention to detail, its enthusiastic and dedicated workforce and innovative management.”
ADT says that the additional yard signs are necessary because of its growing business. In May, ADT acquired Brink’s Home Security Holdings, which had recently changed its name to Broadview Security. The acquisition added 1.3 million Broadview customers to ADT’s North American residential and small business operations, which now serve more than six million customers under the ADT brand name.
Additionally, the company has unveiled ADT Pulse, an interactive solution which integrates home controls and security with consumers’ personal lifestyles.
“We expect the growing demand for ADT Pulse and other ADT security services to lead to additional hiring in the Dallas/Fort Worth market,” says Boerema.
The Boca Raton, Fla.-based ADT employs nearly 1,500 associates at Texas locations in Dallas, Irving, Fort Worth, and Carrollton.
