ADT Unveils ADT Canopy for Smart Home Solutions
ADT will provide its professional monitoring services to popular connected devices.
LAS VEGAS — ADT Corp. unveiled on Wednesday ADT Canopy, a new security-as-a-service solution. This is the latest Smart Security innovation for ADT to not only secure and connect the modern home or business, but also the always connected, on-the-go consumer.
By fostering relationships with leading smart home and consumer electronics brands — including Kidde, Samsung, August and Wink — ADT said it will provide its professional monitoring services to popular wearable devices, connected hubs, life safety products, point devices and more.

The company said the ADT Canopy adds a new level of protection and safety to the latest connected platforms, such as the Wink HUB, Samsung Gear S2 Watch and August Doorbell Cam. Whether customers are at home or on-the-go, they can access instant, live help from ADT’s 24/7 professionally monitored security network. ADT Canopy will secure smart home hubs, life safety products, wearables and point devices including:
