“Our industry as a whole has been forced to come up to speed rather quickly as the cellphone industry began to change,” said Jaime Reel, director of sales at Advantage Protection. “It has been the driving factor behind many of our changes.”
There’s an increasing demand for customers to control their security systems on the go, whether at work, running errands or on vacation. Security systems for homes and businesses can also control the thermostat, lighting and opening and closing of entrances, giving customers the control they crave.
“All of that can be done while you’re gone,” Reel said. “It’s really convenient.”
