AES-IntelliNet Opens New Office in Mexico

PEABODY, Mass.

AES-IntelliNet has opened a new office in Mexico and appointed Ugolino Duran to direct its sales initiatives in the Latin American and Caribbean markets.

Ugolino will be responsible for the growth of AES-IntelliNet’s long-range wireless mesh radio communications business in these regions. He has more than 22 years experience in the electronic security industry, including more than 18 years of international sales experience focused in the Latin American and Caribbean markets.

Ugolino previously worked with Honeywell, Notifier, Johnson Controls and Grinnell Fire Protection Systems. In addition, he has served as president of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Intelligent Building Institute (IBI) for Mexico.

“While our new office in Mexico will bring AES closer to our customers in the Latin America and Caribbean regions, the addition of Ugolino to our team will allow us to literally ‘be there’ to stay close and better appreciate the needs of our customers,” says Mark Brandstein, COO for AES.
